• Preparation: Ensure the scaler and handpiece are clean and sterilized before use. Check that all connections are secure.
• Power On Connect the scaler to a compatible power source (110V-240V~) and switch it on. The scaler will start vibrating at a default frequency of 25kHz±10%.
• Scaling Mode: Select the appropriate scaling mode based on the patient’s needs. The scaler offers multiple scaling modes for customization.
• Handpiece Assembly: Attach the optic handpiece securely to the scaler’s main unit. Make sure it clicks into place.
• Illumination: Activate the LED light source on the handpiece for clear visibility of the treatment area. Adjust the light intensity if necessary.
• Scaling Technique: Hold the handpiece comfortably and maneuver it gently over the teeth and gumline. Maintain proper angulation to avoid tissue damage.
• Tip Selection: Choose the appropriate scaler tip for the specific treatment. Attach and tighten it securely to the handpiece.
• Scaling Procedure: Apply light pressure and move the tip in a controlled motion to remove tartar and plaque effectively. Adjust the tip vibration excursion if needed.
• Safety Measures: Monitor the handpiece temperature to prevent overheating. Take breaks as necessary to avoid excessive heat buildup.
• After Use: Disconnect the scaler from the power source. Detach the handpiece for cleaning and sterilization following the manufacturer’s instructions.
